Football: Social League

I know quite a lot of forumers here who plays football. I am currently participating in a Social Soccer League KL. The league is for 30 and above and we normally play on Saturday or Sunday on fields around Bangi such as BSN, Bank Pertanian, Uniten, Alice Smith, RHB etc. My team is Maluri. The league will start around end of October and last to early June. It consist of three competition, The 7 a side carnival (one day tournament), League and FA Cup competition. We get average 22 matched per season.

Ok, I am writing this to invite those who thinks they can still run a few kilometre per game, still able to pass the ball around and most important still wants to enjoy the game where the ladies say 22 idiots chasing after a ball (just give them 1 ball each lah)......

If you are interested, please contact me. I am looking for additional 3-5 players (those who will be able to come for games almost every week or at least 70% for the whole season....not those who turn up once  a month)......you got to be 30 years above....

We are having friendly games every week to build the team and trial out new players. So I am inviting people like dog, wl and others who love football.....drop me a call at 012 319 2900.

      I am not a person who like football and also not a person who dislike football but I like your idea of introducing the SSKL to all the forumers. Have web browse the site before and would like to suggest you to post some important events in this thread so that interested forumers can participate or watch.

Taken the following remedy for those who think football is boring.

Football is a very exciting sport. But some people think it is boring. If you think watching football is like watching grass grow, then you MUST use these important steps. I have

Steps

(1) Try to learn some things about football. Understand the rules and regulations of the game of football.
(2) Try watching one game alone to see if you like it.
(3) While watching a game alone, jot down questions.
(4) Ask a knowledgeable football fan football questions. (Ask Ling)
(5) Learn about some teams. Try to find a favorite team.
(6) Hang with friends who know football, it will help.
(7) Try watching another game to see if this works.

My recomendation to those who find football boring - Try Youtube best football matches and post your questions to (you know who, he!he!)

No more sports since a futsal injury 2 years ago. Actually it's more like the leg muscles died out due to inactivity for that 1 year it wasn't utilised :O

i think i came across this thread way too late 

i just passed 40 and still playing futsal with guys at least 10 years younger.

used to enjoy field football. i normally play goalkeeper, defender (CB and RB), and curi ayam striker.

too bad i work in the northern part of the country and is back like once every fortnight. otherwise sure will join your trial
